Youth Development Advocacy Week
Virtual Rally
 
 
Please join us to advocate for Youth Development during the 2021 Legislative session. February 8th – 12th is Youth Development Advocacy Week, and we will be hosting a virtual rally to build excitement and collective power!
 
The goals of the week are to:
  • share the legislative priorities of the Washington State Youth Development Strategy Table;
  • build awareness of the critical supports that youth development programs are providing during the pandemic and beyond;
  • get inspired to ensure that all young people have access to expanded learning, mentoring, and wrap-around supports that help them reach the future they envision.
 
This one-hour advocacy kick off will include guest speakers, interactive art, talking points for advocacy, and a social media campaign.
 
 
When: Tuesday, February 9, 2021 from 3:00-4:00 PM
Who: Youth and adult champions and advocates for expanded learning, mentoring, and youth-serving organizations
Where: Zoom (registrants will receive the Zoom link via email)
